Great shower door warranties

Shower door warranties only apply with proper maintenance, cleaning, and care.

Shower door metals and installation have a 1-year warranty from the date of installation. Heavy glass door hinges and handles have an additional 2-year warranty.

Certain maintenance and adjustments may be necessary over the lifetime of your shower door at an additional cost to the buyer.

How to care for and clean your shower doors

  • To minimize water spotting and make cleaning easier, squeegee the glass after every shower and wipe the metal hardware with a clean, soft cloth.

  • Brass hardware should only be cleaned with a dry soft cloth. Detergent or cleaners should be avoided.

  • If you need to get rid of any debris left on your enclosure, use a mild, non-abrasive cleanser like mild soap and water.

  • Cleaners that contain harsh chemicals, such as vinegar, ammonia, and bleach, should never be used because they can severely damage the metal finish of your enclosure.

How ClearShield protects your shower doors

  • ClearShield is an invisible protective barrier against harmful organic and inorganic contaminants, which helps to keep your shower enclosure cleaner and easy to maintain.
  • To maximize the performance of ClearShield protected shower glass, rinse with water and squeegee dry after each use. We also recommend cleaning your shower glass every 10 - 14 days using ClearShield AfterCare.
  • Using harsh or abrasive cleaning products will cause damage to ClearShield and void the warranty.

Proper maintenance and care for your new mirror

  • To prevent mirrors from sweating, which can be corrosive to your mirror, be sure that your mirror has proper ventilation. Always use a ventilation fan if placing your mirror in a highly steamed area.
  • Be careful not to allow edges of the mirror to get or to remain wet over a period of time, as this may cause deterioration along the edges and spoil the silver.

  • Avoid using an abrasive cleaner, such as alkali or acid-based cleaner.

  • Do not spray cleaner directly on your mirror. Apply to a soft cloth and then wipe mirror. Using a soft, grit-free cloth also reduces the chances of scratching.
